Canada Research Chair in Electoral Studies

The Canada Research Chair in Electoral Studies is looking for a post-doctoral fellow with demonstrated research interest and skills in the quantitative study of elections. The Chair is held by Professor André Blais, at the Université de Montréal. The fellow will conduct research on topics related to the Chair’s research program and will assist with a few administrative duties. The fellow will have the opportunity to collaborate with Professor Blais and to co-author on topics of mutual interest and is expected to conduct his/her own personal research as well. He/she will organize activities associated with the Chair and will help out MA and Ph.D. students working with Professor Blais. Some elementary knowledge of French is strongly preferred.

The annual stipend is $40,000. The starting date is between September 2011 and January 2012. Applications should be sent by e-mail. The deadline for applications is June 1, 2011 or until the position is filled. Applications should include:
