Three Lecturer/Senior Lecturer Positions at the School of Politics and International Relations at the ANU, Canberra

The School of Politics and International Relations, the top ranked political science department in Australia, is seeking to make three long term academic appointments in international relations, European politics and political economy.

We welcome applications from outstanding political scientists in international relations, European politics and political economy. Subfields are open.

For the international relations position, successful candidates will be expected to teach three courses, including an introductory course in international relations. An ability to teach a course in IR theory, human rights, security studies, Australian foreign policy and research design and quantitative methods is desirable.

For the European politics position, successful applicants will be expected to teach three courses in European politics at the undergraduate level as part of the Bachelor of European Studies program. An ability to teach research design and quantitative methods is also desirable.

For the political economy position, successful applicants should have a background in political economy, public or rational choice theory and will be expected to teach three courses in the Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy, and Economics degree. An ability to teach research design and quantitative methods is also desirable.
