Fully funded PhD Scholarship (Electoral Studies) at Royal Holloway, University of London

The Democracy and Elections Centre – housed within the Department of Politics and International Relations at Royal Holloway, University of London – is currently offering a fully-funded PhD Studentship for three years from September 2017. The successful candidate will be supervised by Prof Oliver Heath and Dr Kaat Smets, the new incoming editors of Electoral Studies, and will work as an editorial assistant for the journal, which will be housed within the Centre from January 2018.

We invite applicants to submit a 2000-word proposal on any area relating to elections, public opinion, and political parties. Applicants should have a background in electoral behaviour and quantitative analysis and need to have completed a Masters degree.
